Juan Garza
A Mexican from Monterrey and a grill man through and through, Juan Garza is not a chef: he is a Food Engineer with master's degrees in Meat Science and Agribusiness. The grill has been part of his entire life — from the ranch of his childhood and the gatherings around his family, to school and his professional career inside the meat and supermarket industry. Learning where the raw material comes from — in this case, the meat — is what allows him to identify the right techniques and the right preparations for the cut you have in front of you. His goal for every SMP workshop is that you take home something you can recreate with the people you love and value, and that it makes your experience around the fire better.
