About SMP Grill

SMP was founded in Monterrey, Mexico, in 2013 by Alejandro Gutiérrez and has become Latin America's leading community of grill masters, food lovers, and creators who celebrate authentic Mexican gastronomy — one carne asada at a time.

What started as a local movement around the grill has grown into an international community with chapters across Mexico and now in San Antonio, Texas. Through our workshops, experiences, and premium food products, we promote, preserve, and celebrate Mexico's rich culinary traditions while inspiring people everywhere to create memorable moments around the fire.

Our Community Impact

Our passion extends beyond the grill. SMP is the proud creator of Grill Master H-E-B, the largest grilling competition in Latin America, and we host over 150 workshops every month, uniting more than 50,000 people annually through fire, flavor, and friendship.
