About Alejandro Gtz

From Monterrey, Mexico, he’s 39 years old. Industrial Designer by the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey Campus. 

He is the president and cofounder of Sociedad Mexicana de Parrilleros, a company dedicated to create memorable gastronomic experiences around fire since 2012.

Creator and producer of Grill Master H-E-B, the biggest grilling championship in Latin America. Author of twelve books, including the fifth edition of the cookbook El Fuego Nos Une, which obtained 2nd place as BEST BBQ BOOK OF THE YEAR granted by the NATIONAL BARBECUE AND GRILLING ASSOCIATION.
Any gathering can have meaning if we want them to have it, but carne asada is something that has a unique feel that we can't replicate just anywhere. We use them to communicate important news, celebrate, bond or just to hang out.

Do I need experience to take a workshop?

No, you don’t need experience to take our workshops. You will learn the basics, such as how to fire the charcoal up to the characteristics of each meat cut, beef and pork anatomy, grilling techniques and meat doneness.

Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?

No, it’s not necessary to bring anything. We take care of everything, you just need to arrive on time.

Can I buy tickets to the workshop for someone else?

Yes, you can gift tickets to this workshop. Contact us to provide us the information of the attending person.

Can minors attend?

Minors from 15 years of age accompanied by an adult can attend. Remember that during the workshop they will handle charcoal and knives. It is necessary to sign a release letter.

What do I do if I cannot attend the workshop?

Our policies do not allow us to cancel or refund workshops already purchased by the client during the week prior to the workshop. If you want to cancel and receive a refund, let us know before October 15, 2024.
